This spring sees Blaire Donald, formerly with Jenny Packham, launch her womenswear label, ST. CLAIR in London. Her first collection of summer day dresses, which are perfect for a picnic lunch or a wedding reception, is inspired by vintage florals and the English countryside.
The dresses are designed in London and proudly made in India, where a huge amount of the world’s cotton originates. The region of Delhi is renowned for the art of hand-smocking, and Donald is passionate about preserving heritage skills and supporting local artisans, proudly working with a single family-owned and female-run production.
