BRUCE's NOTES

Spring Wedding lunch on April 1st (April Fools). The lunch took place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Hyde Park London, and the gardening staff ensured that all outdoor and indoor florals were in the same palette of yellows and green.

The bride’s brief to Shane Connolly (Floral Designer) was daffodils and topiaries. It had to look natural and artistic - Georgina is an auctioneer for Christie’s and has a passion for art.

We added a natural ‘hessian’ style carpet over the ballroom’s deep royal blue carpet which would have clashed with the design

The artwork on all table stationery was designed by hand and then printed - the bride has the originals as a keepsake.

The green cabbage plates were non negotiable, so we made them work as part of the design
